There was a very positive feedback from Pratt Prize for Musical Theatre Awards 2008 that actually selected Ross Unger and The Man in The Iron Mask as a finalist in 2008 competition.
Plans for the Future
Ross plans to stage The Man in The Iron Mask in a big theatre, and finally, and possibly the ultimate goal, to make it into a movie.
This may sound rather ambitious, but is not as farfetched as it sounds. With the proper contacts, and financing, this will be a very succesful musical.

Iron Mask Musical - the Beginning
"I began writing this musical in November, 2005.
It has been a part time project, into which I have invested a lot of time and energy.
As a result, I have written, and recorded almost 30 songs, which make up the musical.
There is still work to be done. Specifically, script needs to be polished. Same applies to arrangement of many of the musical pieces.
But guess what - the "pilot" was staged on 19 December 2007.
The first performance was in the Memorial Hall of Melbourne High School.
We have produced the CD, DVD and T-Shirt. Those may become a colletcor's items - some time later."
