The people are starving, and dissatisfied with their king, Louis XIV. At the prison, his prisoners cry out.
Twin brothers, identical but by name. King Louis has had his own brother locked away, his face hidden inside an iron mask.
Meanwhile, outside his castle the people protest. Musketeers guard the king's palace.
Raoul, a young musketeer, runs into the beautiful Louise.
Unsatisfied with the cruel and unfair king, the musketeers make a plan to save France.
It is bold and simple - switch the kings!

Raoul is injured in the fight and wakes up in hospital. Louise, his nurse is standing over his bed. The romance begins.
By chance or perhaps fate, the King's eyes fall on the beautiful Louise.
The musketeers carry out their plan to free the King's twin brother. Phillipe is freed. In a safe place, the mask is removed.
Raoul and Louise have been invited to a Masquerade ball at King's Palace. As they arrive the nobility and upper class of Paris are mingling in the palace ballroom.
Raoul and Louise dance but soon Raoul is called away by one of his fellow musketeers. As he leaves King Louis approaches Louise and asks her to dance. After their dance, he leads her outside.
Later that night, in his bed chambers, King Louis is talking to his right hand man, D'Artagnan about his new found love. His fortunes, however are about to change.
